The 2017 Aconcagua Costa Pinot Noir comes from the coastal and cooler part of the Aconcagua Valley, some 12 kilometers from the Pacific Ocean. The grapes fermented with 20% full clusters and native yeasts in stainless steel; some 10% of the wine spent the ?levage time in egg-shaped concrete vats, while the rest aged in mostly used French barriques for 11 months. It has moderate alcohol, and it’s a restrained and serious style of Pinot Noir, with subtle aromas, clean and tasty flavors, good complexity and a layered structure. 29,364 bottles produced.
