The 2015 Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes, from 82-year-old vines cropped at 20 hectoliters per hectare, has plenty of black berry, boysenberry and blood orange on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent ripe black fruit, a little spice and orange rind, grippy in the mouth with dark plum and blackberry towards the finish. I would just like to see more tension and energy on the finish, although that may come in bottle. This has very good potential. (Wine Advocate – Neal Martin)
