This offers a step up in aromatic complexity with its spicy and floral-scented nose of both red and dark cherry, earth and soft tea nuances. There is also excellent volume to the stony, rich and vibrant medium-bodied flavors that terminate in a mildly austere finish that is shaped by dense but fine tannins. This too will require at least some patience and should reward 10+ years of cellaring. (Burghound)
